Last night I watched as Belinda went upstairs and the next thing I knew, I was quietly pad-padding after her. When she heard and turned around, she laughed and whispered, “Oh, alright, come in.” I curled up beside the bed, as quiet and peaceful as could be and didn’t even stir when she went into the bathroom to get ready for our day.
I like our “quiet time.” Belinda took photos today while we were having it. Can you see my smile? She lights a candle and plays beautiful music and I felt my Creator really close by. 🙂
We walked to a place called the “Post Office” where she got papers out of a little hole in the wall. One envelope made her happy. I could read her mind as we walked home and she was thinking about Ingrid, the friend who’d sent it for her birthday. Ingrid’s aunt was one of Belinda’s mom’s best friends almost 70 years ago and they have been friends for 64 years themselves. I love 💕 people being good friends!
I finally got really hungry and finished all the food Thomas brought with me. Belinda and Paul went out tonight to get me some more. Belinda said they stood in front of the dog food for a long time reading ingredients. She told Paul that “meaty” doesn’t mean there’s any meat in it. Paul thought that was very tricky! He wondered if I’d like beef or chicken best. It was a very important decision. In the end they got food with real chicken. Good job 👍Burstons—I like it!
I miss my Burgos family, but the Burstons are trying hard and I love them 🐶♥️
