Hi, Lovely Friends, Chase here!
I was right about Long Weekends! So far, I like it.
I was right about Long Weekends! So far, I like it.

When we came downstairs, there was a lovely party going on in the kitchen, with our visitor Brenda, whom I really, really like, and Mr. Paul, and Tori. It wasn't too overwhelming for me. Just perfect.
Later, a man came to the door, and I went into Stranger Danger mode. But he was one of Belinda's pie customers, so she didn't really want him chased off, I realized when I saw her chatting with him.
I communicated clearly to Belinda that I DO NOT like my halter and leash very much (at all), so she took me out for several walks around the big back yard. She is amazed at how I stick to her heel. She is always panicking and wondering where I am when I am right there--at her heel--haha! This afternoon outside, I morphed into Super Dog when a brown fox who was on a bunny raid, dared to step onto Burston territory. With my invisible cape flying behind me, I chased after him. He ran away like the wind, his long legs stretched out, and mine a blur behind him. He'll think twice about coming back. Yesterday I showed my vigilance--today I was a brave doggie!
Belinda did manage to persuade me into the halter later for a little walk around the village, and I perked up once it was on and enjoyed the long walk. She went out in the evening for a long time for singing practice. I cried by the front door until Belinda came home, even though Brenda tried hard to fill in by filling my kong with kibble. Belinda laughed later at Brenda working hard to fill the kong and then tossing it around for me so that the kibble she worked so hard to put in, fell out for me to eat. That's the kind of Party Person she is!! โค
I miss Peter and Beth, but being at the Bond Head Luxury Pet Hotel is making the days go by fast!
Goodnight my friends! PJ time! ๐๐
We stayed in bed longer this morning. It is a holiday, and also Belinda had a dream going on before she woke up. You probably already realize that I'm a Super Dog. Well, I know you well enough now to reveal one of my superpowers--reading human minds. You would not believe what humans think!
